Koya Mvashti is Niska's only daughter, a woman of middle years who serves as one of Sandpoint's travelling clergy of Desna, following her goddess's mandate to keep moving and carry the faith to wherever the road leads while maintaining enough of a connection to Sandpoint to call it home in the meaningful sense.

Biography

She has her mother's perceptiveness without her inscrutability, expressing it instead through a warmth and openness that makes her easy to talk to and quietly difficult to deceive. Koya grew up in the shadow of Niska's considerable reputation and has built her own identity alongside rather than beneath it, which has required a particular kind of confidence that she wears without drawing attention to it.
