Character overview
- Introduced himself as Aldern Foxglove and thanked The Party for saving his life and his dog at Sandpoint’s north gate during the Sallowtail Festival’s goblin attack.
- Expressed particular gratitude to Ruby, praised her, attempted to kiss her hand, and urged her to seek the best doctor in town after noting her wounds.
- A resident of Sandpoint, he remained in town after the attack. Wearing well-fitted clothes and styled hair, he entered the Rusty Dragon, sat beside Ruby without waiting, called her “my beauty,” praised her physique, touched her bicep, and gave her a warm hooded cloak.
- A Foxglove nobleman, he planned to return to Magnimar and offered to have horses ready at dawn for a boar hunt. He hired six horses: four old mounts, a black stallion for himself, and a pure white mare for Ruby.
- Rode with The Party, accused Esquik’s gun of frightening a boar, administered a healing potion to Eliza, and hoisted the dead boar onto a horse; he later rode off alone with The Party’s horses, leaving them stranded.
- He attempted to woo Ruby and was kicked off his horse after displaying racist behavior. The Party’s clues led them to suspect Foxglove Manor and Aldern Foxglove were involved in the murders.
- After Grayst Sevilla delivered Ruby a message referring to “His Lordship” and the Misgivings, the group recognized the Misgivings as Foxglove Manor and considered whether the nobleman might be the person Grayst meant.
- A ghast said its master had told it a warrior woman would come and blamed Eliza for taking its master’s girl, targeting her as the person its master hated most among those present. The ghast carried a key marked with a foxglove, but the master’s identity has not been confirmed.
- The Party had reasons to suspect he organized the events at the farm and was traveling to Foxglove Manor to confront him.
