Character overview

  • Appearance: Long, wild white hair, amber-golden eyes, dark tanned skin, and intricate red crackling vein-like markings across her face. Her cloak reveals storm-shaped scars, chains, and an attached spiked gauntlet. A six-segment disc pattern is carved into her back, with the air segment faintly glowing. She carries a glass shield and has visited Scarnetti Manor in formal dress.
  • Attire: Dark, tattered armor and mesh or lace-like dark fabric etched with runic or arcane symbols; small chains or dark bindings hang from her clothing. Her metallic chains interfered with throwing contests. Bernard’s Fine Clothing privately measured her for a fitted dress and recommended dark blue, dark green, or dark purple. She also received a colorful fur-lined silk sash made from a recovered cape.
  • Abilities: Her magic involves electricity tied to the elemental planes, as well as fire, shadow, force, and air. She has gathered matter into a long spiked chain of elemental metal, shifted position with gusts, sent bursts of wind, manipulated floating objects, and used Channel Elements blasts and an aerial boomerang. She has summoned a ferrous butterfly, formed an electric bow, and used thunder and lightning in combat. She has also used explosive dust, Dehydrate, and Restraining Chains of the Sky. Her attacks have struck goblins and other foes, heated and melted skeleton bones, and disintegrated A Mutated Goblin-Like Creature with an aerial boomerang impulse. She attempted to strike Tsuto with lightning and missed with her electric bow during a bridge assault. She has opened doors, navigated obstacles, and leapt over a pressure plate. She provides first aid and rough field treatment, has treated wounds with Risky Surgery, and has cared for wounded allies including Ruby, Cerith, Lucien, and Orik, with both successes and failures. She has made most of her skin markings herself, with help from a mentor.
  • Allegiance: Introduced to Ruby and Cerith Ferror as Ruby’s friend, she operated with The Party to eliminate local goblin threats and protect civilians. She is not from Sandpoint; she was born in Pangolais, Nidal, and raised in the faith of Zon-Kuthon. She is not a cleric and believes Zon-Kuthon’s teachings allow for saving lives. She is one of the “Six” involved in saving Sandpoint, sister of Lucien, and associated with Rasvantin. She provided bedside care for Lucien, testified at Nualia’s trial with personal entertainment as her stated motive, and connected the carved-star murders to Nualia and the Sihedron-star killings. She participated in the decision to return to Sandpoint before the Hellknights arrived and agreed to keep Lucien out of fights for a week.
  • Location: She was present at Sandpoint’s Cathedral festival, the Rusty Dragon, Madame Basti’s manor, and the Fat Man’s Feedback. She resides in Sandpoint and traveled to Magnimar, where she presented a journal page mentioning the Skinsaw Cult and a killing in the city. She visited Sava’s armory and Scarnetti Manor, investigated a murder at the sawmill, and identified a forgery at Scarnetti Manor. She traveled southwest with The Party toward Foxglove Manor. During the boar hunt, a boar knocked her down and left her near death; Ruby carried her to the Rusty Dragon, where Cerith Ferror examined and cleaned her wounds. She later appeared much better at breakfast. On the mainland, she stayed off an overloaded bridge and fired crackling magic across the gap; Ruby intercepted a blow intended for her. She was exposed to goblin pox from a goblin dog but did not fall sick.
  • Resources and encounters: She carries chains and metal, a resonant staff, an electrified spiked chain, a glass shield, a large knife, and a knife collection including a kukri. She has visible fangs and a pocketed Ysoki note for Esquik. She gave Ruby a healing potion, identified goblin bite marks on a mauled victim, and matched the leading throw in the A Mutated Goblin-Like Creature Toss, creating a three-way tie. She offered a sportsmanlike handshake to Cerith Ferror and Esquik, and asked Ruby to point out festival dishes for her to fetch. She received 3 gold from Dubral Bisky, found a note signed “J” asking her to meet at the Fatman's Feedback over unpaid promised payment, and relayed The Seamstress’s message to Lucien, saying she would pass it on but made no promises. Tea caused visions related to pain and blood. Madame Basti referred to her as “darkness.” She declined to provide lightning effects for Lucien’s Theater performance and showed a confrontational response to the tavern-keeper. She has experienced paralysis from a Vargouille’s shriek, been targeted by a mutant’s acid vomit, and survived multiple attacks from a ghast before Lucien healed her; she treated her wounds and received healing from River. She has also faced injuries from a war horse, a tentacle creature, Nualia, a Yeth Hound, and a boar.
  • In the farmhouse, she sheltered with Lucien and barricaded the southern door toward the bathroom with a table. During the first ghoul attack, she used fire magic to shield herself, sent electricity at a ghoul, and hurled force at one outside a window; with Lucien’s support, her next magical attack struck a ghoul. She raised her glass shield when a ghoul reopened the window, but it was out of reach. During a pause, she treated Rasvantin Torvashti’s wounds. In the next wave, she heard small footsteps upstairs with Ruby and Rasvantin, used shadow magic, and punched a ghoul, getting her hand stuck in its skull on a subsequent strike. She finished a ghoul Esquik had bombed. After a ghoul restrained her, she waited for Rasvantin to attack her captor and asked him to move afterward if he could; she used shadow magic around the ghouls and Rasvantin, punched a ghoul, and raised her shield. Rasvantin killed her captor and freed her. She ended the shadow effect, attacked with electricity, and landed another punch. When a ghoul emerged from the chimney, she attacked with a prepared burst of force; it leaped at her and struck back. She reported seeing lights and hearing horses, suggested the farmer might have summoned people, and said Alden Foxglove might be a ghoul. As the scarecrows attacked, she cast an electric spell and punched the ghoul that had struck her. She later chose to punch rather than cast near an attacker that could strike in response. Ruby intercepted a ghoul’s bite and first claw, but its second claw hit Eliza. After Ruby killed the last ghoul, Eliza told Belor Hemlock he had missed the big one.
