Character overview
One of his tusks was missing, leaving a bloody socket and intense pain. He had brushed both tusks before sleeping and used boar bristles and homemade paste to keep them white. After Vaska offered assistance, he demanded that the culprit be found so he could kill them. He reported waking to discover the missing tusk and the blood left behind. He permitted Gurnak to examine the socket after Fizzik persuaded him, but warned Gurnak not to touch anything. The examination found that the tusk had been pulled out intact with pliers or a similar instrument, leaving small gum scratches; reattachment appeared doubtful. Later, the Fabulous offered him recovered tusk blades, and one seemed newly taken, but its damaged root prevented it from being reattached.
