Hign Bonesnap is an orc hunter who guides travelers through the rougher stretches of Belkzen's wilds, more interested in a good hunt than in coddling her companions. Hign Bonesnap is a tall, muscular dromaar with a high topknot, a fine bow, and gear ready for travel. He is a hunter who led two younger orcs and The Party from Torrentmoot on a true aurochs-hunting expedition, seeking supplies and signs of the coming deluge. He said aurochs were clever beasts and that finding them might take several days.
On the first day, he praised Fizzik for spotting tracks and noted that he might become a hunter. Around the campfire, Hign Bonesnap questioned Vanna about Druma and Fizzik about the goblins’ hopes in Belkzen. After Vaska’s cooking sickened several hunters, he warned her that strong-smelling food was a poor choice when stalking aurochs and that worse ingredients could have caused bleeding. On the third day, Hign Bonesnap challenged The Party to vault an aurochs and leave a painted handprint on it. When the hunters returned, he acknowledged The Party’s success. He warned that the fastest route crossed plants covered in barbed spines and urged the group to move carefully and avoid them.
