Absalom

Location overview

Absalom is where Gurnak, originally from the Burning Sun Hold, spent most of his childhood and life before recently leaving. The apothecaries in Absalom endorsed handwashing. Gurnak associated his time there with separation from Orc culture and exposure to outsiders’ stereotypes about Orcs. Goblins who helped Lord Uldun II escape the Whispering Tyrant’s destruction of a city remained with him in Absalom for a long time, where they learned to harness their violent tendencies.
Davor planned to spend several weeks in Urgir documenting urban orcs before returning to Absalom. Gurnak considered returning to Urgir after spending more time learning about orcs and gathering information for a draft. Davor proposed exchanging letters and notes for consultation after his return.
