Item overview
The Storm Skewermaul is an orc maul presented by Ardax the White-Hair as one of two gifts to The Group for their accomplishments at Torrentmoot. It was accepted by Vaska Klashe, who carried it during the hunt at Broken Spears. During this event, she advanced against the perytons, and at the aerie, she readied the maul. Vaska rushed to Gurnak’s aid and smashed the mother peryton’s head, killing her. When the daughter attempted to flee, Vaska struck and wounded her with the maul.
Grothlyn Zor also handled the weapon, swinging it a few times before remarking that it was a fine weapon imbued with powerful magic, though he ultimately returned it. Vaska expressed a desire to test the maul against something smarter than the perytons. Subsequently, she charged the Storm Skewermaul with electricity and struck an undead creature, dropping it while its body still twitched from the charge.
