One of an orc’s two tusks, the Missing Tusk was kept clean and white with boar-bristle brushing and homemade paste. Its owner brushed both tusks before sleeping, then awoke to find this one gone, leaving intense pain and a bloody mess.
Gurnak examined the empty socket and found that the tusk had been pulled out intact with pliers or a similar instrument, leaving small gum scratches but no damage to the other teeth. Reattachment appeared doubtful. The Group later recovered several tusk blades; one seemed newly taken, but its root was damaged and could not be reattached.
