Biography
He is old enough now that his participation in the active business of the family's shipbuilding interests has passed largely to younger hands, but his counsel is still sought and still worth seeking — he carries in his memory a living history of Sandpoint that no document quite captures, and he dispenses it with the measured generosity of someone who understands that what he knows has value precisely because he will not always be there to share it.
