Taidel

NPC overview

Taidel is a half-elf hunter known for his quiet and watchful demeanor. He is part of a capable pair with his sibling Lirosa, and together they have made a reputation among the locals of Phaendar for their competence in the woods. While not soldiers and lacking a love for discipline or authority, they are quick to act when action is required, often choosing to confront danger head-on rather than retreat. This quality has led to differing perceptions of them in Nirmathas, with outcomes ranging from respect to peril.
Taidel's serious bearing becomes evident when addressing important matters. He demonstrated this when he led the party to a camp watchpost to reveal the body of a refugee hidden under leaves. During an investigation of a murder, he presented the corpse after the party returned from tracking the killer. He also participated in communal activities, such as tale-telling, where he recognized and praised the skills of others, specifically commending Wren and referring to her as "Deadshot." Together with Lirosa, Taidel is well-acquainted with the paths between Phaendar and the Fangwood, knowing them better than most people know their own homes.
