Sergeant Patin is a veteran soldier known for his distinctive appearance and demeanor. He has one eye that "could see you come and one eye that could say to go away at the same time." He wears shining plate armor, which he keeps polished.
The group often hid his plate armor to reduce noise in the forest. Bruneg designed a leafy cover for the armor, which the others made Patin wear despite his dislike for it. He is remembered as a silly but nice man.
