NPC overview
Mira, also known as the Wounded Unconscious Girl, is an eight-year-old girl, the daughter of a militiaman named Harald from Phaendar. She is clever and has a fondness for nature, particularly trees. During the attack on Phaendar, Mira went missing, prompting her father to search for her. Harald expressed concern for her safety and described her as someone who would know to run to the Fangwood for safety. The Party had no information about Mira's whereabouts despite their efforts to reassure Harald that many people were still missing.
Mira was later found inside a Cave, visibly wounded and unconscious, near wolf cubs. The Party discovered her while confronting Mitflits that were tormenting animals in the Cave. After defeating the Mitflits, The Party rescued her. Mira reported that she had been hiding in the forest when Mitflits discovered and hunted her. A Wolf Mother came to her aid and led the Mitflits to the Wolf Lair. She was brought to the main Camp, where Jet, the innkeeper, took charge, fed her, and promised she would be cared for. Mira remained at the main Camp under care.
As a refugee in the camp, Mira serves as a cook and fills the camp’s waterskins. Upon The Party's arrival, she announced that dinner was ready and mentioned her assistance with the meal. Each morning, she is responsible for filling the waterskins. She had been taught by her father how to skin rabbits, clean fish, and make herself useful, expressing that her father would know she had been useful when he returned. However, after other sick refugees began recovering, Mira later showed the same illness and appeared worse than the earlier patients. Wren, a camp inhabitant, encouraged her interest in hunting and fishing, and spent time with her to cheer her up, promising they might hunt together sometime. Before departing, Wren gave her a piece of chalk to decorate the walls.
Mira is energetic and often runs behind the walls, causing other survivors and wolf cubs to hide from her. After several days, she entices the cubs with food, reaches an understanding with them, and takes on the responsibility of caring for the wolf pups. Mira is eager to learn archery and approached Wren to ask when she would be taught to shoot. She arrived breathless and reminded Wren of the promised lesson, inquiring about Wren's shooting skills, her parents, and her romantic interests. Mira mentioned that a friend named Liz in Phaendar had advised her to find a partner to assist with chores. She wrapped her hands in rope to increase her grip on a bow. Wren noted that Mira had prior training, and her questions served as a way to bond. Wren promised to teach her after completing one more errand. After practice, Mira stated she would inform Wren if she saw anyone handsome and skipped back into Cave Camp. Arden mentioned that he had tried to keep Mira safe during an encounter, but she became frightened and ran away. Wren noted that Mira possesses good survival instincts and may be taught archery in the future. Arden gave Wren a small piece of oak bark with a deer drawn on it, which he believed belonged to Mira, and Wren planned to return it to her.
Mira is a young member of Fangwood Six known for her care of wolf cubs. During her time in Camp, she focused on the cubs, which led to her paying less attention to Wren. She frequently approached Finnetharyn Fimbleshanks, asking him to teach her to sing. After several days of practice, Mira was able to maintain a simple pentatonic scale, while the wolf cubs could only howl. Wren planned to bring Mira a decorative necklace as a gift after finding it among the dead. After returning to Xulgath Caverns, Wren checked on Mira.
