Biography

NPC overview

Longfrond is a small cherry tree located among seven trees surrounding a rocky pond. It possesses a deep, gravelly voice and identifies itself as the guardian of the forest. Longfrond claims to speak many languages and states it has lived for hundreds of years, though it later reveals it moved to this part of the forest only a few seasons ago.
When Fangwood Six visited, Longfrond asserted it needed no help, ordered them and their axe-bearing companions from its forest, and threatened to summon creatures to kill them. It expressed skepticism about their differences from Ironfang Legion, describing larger green-skinned figures that fear fire. Longfrond had previously sent owlbears to attack Ironfang Legion and requested the party not to disclose its location to a nearby wood giant. It mentioned Ironfang Legion, a dragon, and a broken druid, warning the party about Ibzairiak, a plague on the forest, but approved when they expressed their intention to kill the dragon.
