NPC overview
Lirosa Ayubarin and Taidel are half-elf siblings, hunters who know the terrain around Phaendar well and have made something of a reputation for themselves among the locals. They are not soldiers and have no particular love of discipline or authority, but they are competent in the woods and quick to act when action is needed. Their instinct when faced with danger is to shoot back rather than run — a quality that tends to get people either killed or respected in Nirmathas, depending on the situation.
Lirosa is the more recognizable of the two around town, partly because she makes a habit of leaving her amulet of Erastil at the Riverwood Shrine whenever she passes through — hanging it there to "recharge," as she puts it, before retrieving it on her way back out. Recently, she is associated with an ebony religious symbol, which serves as her personal keepsake. The party discovered Lirosa's keepsake while sorting through salvaged items in their camp. They also discussed returning a butterfly pendant to her, indicating a connection to another character named Tessna. Lirosa is involved in leading and organizing the refugees from Phaendar. Together with Taidel, they make a capable hunting pair, and they know the paths between Phaendar and the Fangwood better than most people know their own homes.
Lirosa is a scout and one of the Aiuvarin Siblings. She reported a small patch of strange fungus located a few miles northwest of the caves. Lirosa described the trees in that area as being eaten from the inside out and mentioned hearing a shrill, unnatural laugh. She retreated from the site without further investigation due to fear. Lirosa stated that she had not eaten any of the fungus and requested the party to be aware of the site.
