Harald is a militiaman from Phaendar, marked by visible wounds on his arms and legs. He is urgently searching for his eight-year-old daughter, Mira, displaying a sense of panic. Harald approaches The Party in distress, asking if they have seen Mira. He expresses deep concern for her safety, stating he has not seen her since the previous night. Although The Party suggests checking their camp for more information, Harald refuses to stop searching and warns them about strange reptile-like creatures in the area before continuing his search for his daughter.
The Party later recognizes the rescued girl as Mira, explicitly identified as Harald's daughter. They debate privately whether she is indeed his child and agree not to tell Mira that they feared her father might have died in The River. Those living in Feinda recognize Mira as Harald's daughter.
