Geri is one of two wolf cubs the party found badly wounded in an animal pen; Wren cleaned and tended Geri’s wounds. The cub was starving when found and accepted a ration from Finnetharyn Fimbleshanks.

After Finn fed and sang to the cubs, they eagerly followed him; the party named the cubs Geri and Freki. Geri attached himself to Wren, ran to her when she returned to Main Camp, and remained bonded to her even after Mira became the cubs’ primary caretaker.
