Gashmaw

NPC overview

Gashmaw is an enormous boar, larger than a bull, with a ring embedded in one tusk. This ring is a magical item that hardens his hide and grants extra vitality. Hunters tracked Gashmaw by the massive tusk gouges on trees and large hoof-like tracks leading to a Small Lake where he was sighted. The ring became embedded as his tusk grew, causing him to scratch trees and rocks. When Finnetharyn Fimbleshanks approached, Gashmaw displayed aggressive warning behavior, stopping short of charging and deliberately showing the tusk with the ring. After Vendel Coldblade carefully freed the ring, Gashmaw bolted away. He is recorded as territorial and unfriendly.
