A Floating Skin is an animated hide that hung from the wall above Gristledown's Mass Grave. It is described as a shredded, floating undead horror that does not bleed and is identified as unnatural. It rose when the earth broke near the grave alongside four Bloody Skeletons.
The Floating Skin drifted onto Arsène, attempting to seize and enshroud him. It failed to engulf him fully but still dealt significant wounds and proved resistant to bleeding effects. The Party focused fire and attacks against it, and Arsène cut the Floating Skin apart with a decisive blow, destroying it.
