Chimera

NPC overview

The Chimera was a three-headed winged beast with leathery wings, bearing lion, goat, and Ibzairiak heads. Its Ironfang head breathed cold. Wren spotted it in the misty lowlands where the Six Yores River entered the forest, and it descended after realizing it had been seen. It blasted most of Fangwood Six with cold breath before Vendel Coldblade’s magic slowed it and Finnetharyn Fimbleshanks’s magic sickened it. Gundugar Herdtender wounded it with fire and other attacks while Wren demoralized it and continued shooting. The Chimera bit Vendel and struck at him again when he tried to heal. Vendel badly wounded it, and Finnetharyn finished it with another spell. Afterward, birds began returning to the overhunted land.
