Biography
He is warm and theatrical in the Varisian tradition without being entirely transparent, and the impression he gives of knowing considerably more than he shares is either a carefully cultivated affectation or an accurate representation of the truth, possibly both. He knows his inventory with the thoroughness of someone who has tested most of it personally, dispenses advice alongside his wares with the measured generosity of someone who considers an informed customer preferable to an unfortunate one, and maintains a calm and watchful quality behind the counter that suggests the ability to handle most situations that a magic shop might reasonably attract, and several that are considerably less reasonable.
