Biography
He is a gnome of advanced years whose enthusiasm for geography and exploration has not diminished in the slightest with age, and his shop is less a tidy commercial establishment than a cheerful chaos of rolled parchments, pinned charts, annotated survey notes and half-finished projects that only he can reliably navigate. He is considered one of the more knowledgeable people in Sandpoint on the subject of the surrounding region and its history, and travellers who take the time to sit with him and ask the right questions generally find the conversation worth considerably more than whatever they paid for his maps.
