Scourge Of All Light, also known as Murk, is Eliza Darrow’s familiar.
- Murk is a small winged shadow-creature sent from Nidal to Eliza in a ventilated parcel.
- A card identified it as the “Scourge Of All Light.” It flew around The Tavern before settling on Eliza Darrow’s shoulder.
- When Lucien exposed it to light, it writhed in pain.
- Eliza claimed it as her familiar and kept it with her when The Party departed.
- On The Road, Murk’s shadowy breath helped Eliza Darrow fight off a goblin troop.
- In the sanatorium basement, a hooded tenant recognized Murk by reputation as the Scourge Of All Light and said stories held that Murk was destined to eat the sun.
- Its light-sensitive nature was witnessed at The Tavern.
