Ezakien Tobyn

Ezakien Tobyn, also known as Father Tobyn, was the beloved head priest of Sandpoint's original chapel of Desna, a gentle and respected figure whose death in the fire that destroyed the building cast a long shadow over the town's collective memory.

Biography

His sarcophagus and interred charred remains were placed in the town tomb. During a goblin attack, his tomb was forced open, leading to the discovery that Ezakien Tobyn's sarcophagus was empty; the charred bones were missing. Patches from a Robe of Bones associated with his sarcophagus were used to animate skeletons found inside. Goblin-sized tracks led up the eastern wall, and human-sized tracks moved to and from the sarcophagus in the same direction. A ladder was present that could have been used to cross the city wall.
