He promptly made himself indispensable to Sandpoint's cultural life, running his theater with the passionate investment of someone who considers bringing good performance to a small coastal town not a compromise but a calling. Cyrdak is flamboyant in the way that people are who have decided that life is too short for understatement and have the talent to back the decision up. He is one of Sandpoint's more beloved figures, possessed of the particular social gift of making everyone he talks to feel like the most interesting person in the room, a quality that is both entirely genuine and enormously useful in his line of work.
