Biography
Alceo Demetrias is one of the two founders of the Hellbreakers League, and its heart and voice. An aiuvarin cleric devoted to Milani—the Everbloom, goddess of liberty and the patron of those who fight injustice and tyranny—Alceo came to the cause early, having once run an underground network that smuggled the oppressed out of Cheliax before he was forced to flee east himself. It was on that flight that he met Phoebe, the ex-soldier who would become his protector, his partner in the cause, and his wife; the two fell in love amid constant danger and chose to remain in Isger and fight for its people together. Where Phoebe brings martial steel to the League, Alceo brings conviction and inspiration, rallying recruits with stirring words and the moral clarity of his faith. Wise and warm, he leads largely from the background, content to nurture promising new Hellbreakers and trust them to grow into the heroes Isger needs. Additionally, Alceo has been working through political allies in Elidir to have the bounties on the Party removed.
