The Hungry Hole is described as impossible to fill, with a clearing that is an almost perfect circle, forty feet across, devoid of foliage and grass. Surrounding branches create an open tunnel from the ground to the sky. At the center is a mundane-looking hole with edges that shift and undulate like a ravenous mouth.
When approached, the hole began inhaling, pulling Kracka and Khar'gan five feet closer. Kuippana discovered that a Spacious Pouch combined with a Portable Hole could create an all-absorbing dimensional hole, and that nature-based or occult work or Dispel Magic could stop its inhalation. After the party withdrew, Samantha cast Dispel Magic from a distance, causing the pit to stop breathing and subsequently vomit valuables among mouse skeletons, lizard pieces, and branches, including two Alloy Orbs.
