Moss-Lined Ravine

Location overview

The Moss-Lined Ravine is a crack in the earth on the outskirts of Chitterwood, likely formed by an ancient quake or long erosion. Bright green moss lines its walls as it descends forty feet. Following sinuous snake marks from Fernsby, the party heard hissing below and descended by rope. Vipers and goblin snakes attacked them in the ravine, including a many-headed goblin snake whose foul vapor and venom injured several party members. The party killed the goblin snakes, dazzled one viper, and drove another away. Kracka found a soothing tonic while searching the ravine, and the party carried the largest goblin snake’s corpse back to Fernsby as proof of what had attacked the village green.
