Ambush Site

Location overview

The Ambush Site lies along the riverbank near a stretch of rocks that forces passing ships close to shore. An escarpment overlooks the water, with places to hide along the bank and above it. It is two days downriver from Saringallow.
After reaching the site, The Party made Bromli Alefist appear badly wounded or dead on the riverbank while Samantha and Hugh hid nearby and Lexx Rennde painted Bromli with red paint. The ship slowed to investigate, allowing The Party to board by surprise. Fighting broke out on deck; the captain and several sailors were subdued, and an animated suit of armor was destroyed. A linked magical blast then erupted from below deck, spreading fire through the ship as Khar’gan reached the shore.
