Druma's Mercenary League is the for-hire military arm of Druma, the fabulously wealthy mercantile nation that borders Isger to the east. Druma is ruled by the Kalistocracy, devotees of a creed that prizes the accumulation of wealth above almost all else, and the Mercenary League is an extension of that philosophy: a professional, well-equipped fighting force that sells its services to whoever can meet the price. Isgerians know the League well, for it was one of the three powers — alongside Cheliax's Hellknights and Andoran's Eagle Knights — whose unlikely alliance finally broke the goblin hordes during the Goblinblood Wars. Coldly pragmatic rather than idealistic, the League fights for coin and contract, not cause, which makes its soldiers a familiar sight along the lucrative trade routes of the Conerica. For the Hellbreakers, a Druman mercenary might prove a useful ally or hired blade — provided the pay is good and Druma's own interest in Isger's river trade doesn't pull the other way.
