During the Goblinblood Wars, the Hobgoblin Raiders tried to burn Umok to the ground. A visiting champion pushed them back and saved everyone in the town. Since then, Umok has banned open fire within five hundred yards, with banishment— and, in some cases, execution—enforced for violations. Decades later, Umok’s residents remained wary of hobgoblins because of their history with the raiders.
