Kuippana

Also known as Kui

Roots of the Ancient Pact Among the root-braided homes of Umok, Kuippana’s family lineage was as ancient as the moss on the forest floor. Generations ago, one of Kuippana’s ancestors forged a sacred pact with a dryad matriarch of Chitterwood.

Biography

Kui is an Ardande (a wood-born with the resilient spark of the First World) from the forest town of Umok. His bloodline carried an ancient pact with a dryad matriarch of the Chitterwood: his kin tended the woods, and the dryads kept the family line flourishing. That harmony ended when the Goblinblood Wars swept the horde through Umok — he watched his hometown burn, lost his entire family and friends, and fled with nothing but grief and ash. His hatred hardened toward both Isger and Cheliax, the powers that abandoned Umok to the horde and later scorched the Chitterwood, crushing any hope of the dryads' return. In the blackened ruins, his grief reignited the dormant pact and pulled a fragment of the First World to his side: Mielikki, a dryad Eidolon and distant cousin bound by the old blood-promise.

Mechanically, Kui and Mielikki fight as a pair, and he wields a nature-touched arsenal — Protector Tree, Daze, electricity and frost magic, plus the ability to scan for supernatural traces. In play he's as much an advocate as a combatant: pressing Rhograk about the dead, arguing for Isgeran independence and cooperation among Isger's peoples, tending gardens in Vordia, and adding torch-antlers to the Stumpfield sculpture. His larger goal is to tear down the negligent, oppressive systems of Cheliax and Isger, reclaim his homeland, and build a future where mortals and fey thrive together.
